Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has appointed Sylvain Fagot as senior vice president of components at Air France Industries, effective October 01, 2026.
Fagot succeeds François Gueguen, who will leave AFI KLM E&M to become executive vice president of fleet, engineering and maintenance at Transavia France.
Fagot most recently led fleet, engineering and maintenance at Transavia France and previously served as senior vice president of engineering and maintenance at HOP! Air France.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than 20 years at Air France Industries in a number of leadership positions.
AFI KLM E&M said Fagot's experience across airline and MRO operations will support the continued development of its component capabilities and customer offering.
Anne Brachet, executive vice president of AFI KLM E&M, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Sylvain to Air France Industries. His extensive experience in engineering and maintenance, combined with his strong understanding of airline operations, will be a valuable asset to the organisation.
"I would also like to thank François for his commitment and strong contribution to AFI KLM E&M, and wish him every success in his new role at Transavia France.”
Vincent D’Andrea, executive vice president of Air France Industries, added that Fagot’s combination of “technical expertise and operational experience” would support the continued development of its components activities.
