ST Engineering’s Commercial Aerospace business and Collins Aerospace have signed three multi-year agreements aimed at expanding component repair and support for airline operators.
The agreements introduce a new collaboration covering Boeing 787 component repairs while extending existing arrangements for OEM spare parts procurement and lifecycle repair support across several aircraft platforms.
Under the new 787 agreement, ST Engineering will provide repair services for Collins Aerospace fan assembly electronics boards. The companies said the repair-over-replacement approach is designed to reduce line replaceable unit (LRU) turnaround times and improve component support efficiency.
ST Engineering has also extended and expanded an agreement to procure new power and controls spare parts from Collins Aerospace for its LRU component MRO operations. The wider scope adds further narrowbody components to ST Engineering’s repair portfolio.
A third agreement extends the companies’ collaboration on Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 family LRU repairs through Collins Aerospace’s FlightSense aftermarket support programme.
Poon Kok Wah, senior vice president and head of component services at ST Engineering, said the expanded agreements combine Collins Aerospace’s OEM expertise with ST Engineering’s lifecycle MRO and asset management capabilities.
He added: “Together, these capabilities provide customers with broader repair coverage, reliable component support and responsive lifecycle solutions.”
Jen Latka, vice president of aftermarket, power and controls at Collins Aerospace, said: “Expanding our collaboration with ST Engineering allows us to better support the aviation ecosystem with agile and high-standard MRO solutions.
“These lifecycle and repair programmes ensure that operators worldwide benefit from maximised component efficiency and enhanced fleet performance.”
The news was announced during the Aviation Week MRO Asia-Pacific 2026 event in Singapore.
