FL Technics Wheels & Brakes has promoted Kaspars Podins to chief commercial officer as it looks to expand its market presence and customer portfolio.
In the role, Podins will lead the company's commercial strategy, with a focus on strengthening long-term customer partnerships and supporting the growth of its wheels and brakes business across European and global MRO markets.
Podins brings more than 15 years of international aviation MRO experience to the position and has spent the past two-and-a-half years supporting the commercial growth of Job Air Technic.
Announcing the appointment on social media, FL Technics Wheels & Brakes said the internal career progression reflected its "commitment to developing talent and creating opportunities for growth within the organisation".
The company added that Podins' leadership would play a key role in scaling the wheels and brakes business and strengthening its strategy across its European and global MRO footprint.
Podins said: "I look forward to sharing my experience, strengthening relationships with our clients, extending our market presence and customer portfolio, and supporting our teams in delivering reliable, high-quality services."
FL Technics, a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, completed the acquisition of Job Air Technic in February 2026.
