Aircraft asset specialist Vallair has appointed Valentina Pilschikova as director of asset trading, promoting the long-serving employee to lead its aircraft and engine trading activities.
In her new role, Pilschikova will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with customers and partners, identifying aircraft and engine asset acquisition and sales opportunities, and working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
Pilschikova joined Vallair in 2018 as a purchasing administrative officer before progressing through roles in material sales and market analysis and, most recently, engine and parts trading sales manager.
She brings more than 15 years of international commercial experience and over seven years in aviation, supported by an engineering background that provides strong technical expertise.
Pilschikova said: “I enjoy solving problems, finding practical solutions and creating value for everyone involved.
“Each role at Vallair has helped me grow professionally, build a deeper understanding of the aviation business and prepare me for this new challenge.”
Vallair’s asset trading division works across the aviation aftermarket, supporting airlines, lessors, traders, MRO providers and other industry partners.
Pascal Parant, chief commercial and marketing officer at Vallair Group, said: “Valentina has a special combination of technical and commercial awareness and she is ideally placed to help airlines to maximise the value of their assets and provide flexible solutions that support their operations.
“For lessors and asset owners, she and her team combine technical expertise with market knowledge to help maximise the value of their investments.
“As an organisation, we aim to be a reliable, responsive and trustworthy partner for traders and MROs - focused on building long-term relationships and finding solutions that benefit everyone.”
Pilschikova added: “I believe that people do business with people they trust. Building strong relationships has always been the most rewarding part of my job.
“I try to be open, reliable and solution-oriented, and I believe that when you keep your word and work towards a common goal, success follows naturally.”
