StandardAero has expanded its business aviation airframe maintenance capabilities at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) to support a range of Bombardier Global aircraft.
The company’s Van Nuys repair station authorisation now covers airframe inspections, repairs, structures and avionics work for the Global Express, Global Express XRS, Global 5000, Global 6000 and Global 7500.
StandardAero said it has already begun supporting Global operators at the California facility, including inspection and repair events, SpaceX Starlink installations on Global 5000 aircraft and BR710 engine line maintenance.
The expansion builds on more than 25 years of experience supporting Gulfstream aircraft at Van Nuys and extends the site’s capabilities across another major large-cabin business jet family.

More than 1,200 Bombardier Global aircraft have been delivered worldwide, including over 600 in North America.
StandardAero is also a Rolls-Royce authorised service centre for the BR710 engines powering most of the Global family, providing line maintenance at Van Nuys and in-field support through its Mobile Service Team.

The Van Nuys facility operates under FAA, EASA, AFAC and TCCA approvals. StandardAero also provides maintenance and modification support for Bombardier Global aircraft at its Springfield, Illinois facility.
