Jettainer has extended its unit load device (ULD) management partnership with Trinity Airways, formerly known as T’way Air, with plans to introduce Internet of Things (IoT) tracking technology.
The agreement builds on a collaboration established in 2022, during which Jettainer has supported the airline in developing its ULD fleet from scratch and adapting it to meet evolving operational requirements.
Trinity Airways has exclusively used lightweight ULDs since the partnership began, helping to reduce aircraft weight, lower fuel consumption and improve operational efficiency.
Jettainer’s ULD Control Desk (UCD) also provides operational support to ensure the efficient management of the airline’s ULD fleet.
The next phase of the partnership will focus on implementing IoT tracking technology to improve fleet visibility, increase transparency and enable more efficient ULD management.
Taesoo Kim, chief manager, cargo transportation at Trinity Airways, said: “Jettainer has been a trusted and highly committed partner from day one. The team’s responsiveness, expertise and consistent operational support have been instrumental in developing our ULD operations.
“As we continue to grow, we are confident that Jettainer is the right partner by our side and look forward to building on our successful collaboration in the years ahead.”
Thorsten Riekert, chief sales officer at Jettainer, said the extension reflected the airline’s confidence in the company’s services and operational expertise.
“We are proud of what we have achieved together so far and excited to take the next step with the introduction of IoT technology, supporting Trinity Airways as it continues to grow.”
