K&R International Services (K&R) has deployed Descartes’ global security filing solution to automate European Union Import Control System 2 (ICS2) submissions for charter cargo carriers handling large volumes of e-commerce shipments.
The solution enables K&R to standardise air shipment data and automate hundreds of thousands of regulatory submissions each month, helping it meet tight cargo security processing windows as volumes increase.
A single charter flight can contain tens of thousands of individual e-commerce parcels, each requiring shipment data to be processed within regulatory and operational deadlines.

Descartes said these capabilities can improve filing accuracy and support efficient cross-border customs processing where entry timelines are compressed and shipment volumes are high.
