Qatar Airways Cargo expands freighter network for winter season

Qatar Airways Cargo is expanding its global freighter network for the winter 2026 season, introducing new services from Copenhagen, Warsaw and New York, alongside additional capacity in Dallas.

The network enhancements will strengthen connectivity between Europe and North America, providing customers with greater capacity and access to global markets through the airline's Doha hub.

From October 25, the carrier will operate a weekly Boeing 777 freighter service from Copenhagen, offering 100 tonnes of dedicated export capacity.

Operating on the Doha–Budapest–Copenhagen–Doha route, the service will support exporters in Denmark and southern Sweden, complementing the airline's 10 weekly Boeing 787 passenger flights, which provide more than 100 tonnes of belly-hold capacity in each direction.

Qatar Airways Cargo is also reinstating freighter services to Warsaw from October 26, introducing a weekly direct connection to Chicago.

Operating Doha–Warsaw–Chicago–Brussels–Doha, the Boeing 777 freighter will provide Polish exporters with additional access to US markets.

Combined with twice-weekly freighter services to Katowice and 10 weekly widebody passenger flights to Warsaw, the new operation will increase the carrier's total cargo capacity to and from Poland to more than 435 tonnes in each direction.

In North America, a new weekly Boeing 777 freighter service will launch on November 1, operating Doha–Liège–New York (JFK)–Atlanta–Liège–Doha.

Complementing 14 weekly passenger flights to New York, the service will increase weekly cargo capacity to more than 226 tonnes in each direction.

The airline has also recently introduced twice-weekly Boeing 777 freighter services to Dallas, providing 200 tonnes of inbound main-deck capacity and 100 tonnes outbound.

Together with 14 weekly widebody passenger flights, this increases total weekly cargo capacity to more than 250 tonnes into Dallas and over 150 tonnes outbound.

The expanded network will support shipments across several key sectors, including pharmaceuticals, aerospace, technology, energy, perishables and automotive, alongside high-value, time-sensitive and oversized cargo.

Customers will also benefit from onward connections across Qatar Airways Cargo's global network of more than 160 destinations.
