MASkargo and Qatar Airways Cargo launch new Asia-Middle East route
MASkargo, the cargo arm of Malaysia Airlines, has expanded its strategic partnership with Qatar Airways Cargo by launching dedicated twice-weekly freighter operations linking Kuala Lumpur, Bengaluru and Doha.
Operated by Qatar Airways Cargo Boeing 777 freighters, the new KUL-BLR-DOH-KUL service adds 200 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity, supporting shipments of general cargo, perishables, pharmaceuticals and valuables.
The collaboration combines MASkargo’s Asian network with Qatar Airways Cargo‘s global reach, providing customers with enhanced connectivity to destinations across Asia, Europe and North America through dedicated gateways in Kuala Lumpur and Bengaluru.
Since the service launched, more than 1,000 tonnes of cargo have been transported, highlighting strong demand for the enhanced trade link and reinforcing network resilience across key Asia-focused trade lanes.
