Online commercial charter flight booking platform, myPlane, has launched new AI-powered features designed to ease the transition from manual to digital booking for its community of airlines and business to business (B2B) travel buyers.

The new assistive features will be able to convert what is an average for commercial airlines of 400-500 daily charter flight requests into a central system while collecting data.

myPlane claims this will reduce administrative work and boost productivity by enabling airlines to automatically categorise, structure, and respond to enquiries through a digital platform.

For B2B customers, it will provide them with more structured offers and allow buyers to compare travel options and make bookings easier, in an effort to improve transparency.

Currently, the platform serves more than 140 airlines and 1,300 B2B users.

Juuso Klemola, co-founder of myPlane, said: “Moving an entire industry from decades-old manual processes to digital distribution doesn’t happen overnight. To ensure airlines and travel buyers can immediately enjoy the benefits of a transparent and efficient booking solution, the transition must be as seamless as possible.”

Klemola added: “Thanks to artificial intelligence, we’ve now made it easier than ever for the industry to embrace a modern, streamlined approach to charter flight bookings. This is a major leap forward for commercial charter – one that will accelerate the shift to digital and unlock even greater efficiency for airlines and travel buyers alike.”
