Delta TechOps expands into India with IndiGo CFM56-5B support
Delta TechOps has announced an eight-year exclusive CFM56‑5B maintenance contract with budget Indian airline IndiGo, covering support for 20 engines in its A320ceo fleet.
The partnership marks the first major collaboration between the two companies and a new presence for Delta TechOps in India.
IndiGo operates one of the world’s largest A320 fleets and continues to invest significantly in narrowbody growth, with additional A320neo and A321neo aircraft on order well into the next decade.
Marc Meredith, senior vice president and chief commercial operator for Delta TechOps, said: “India represents one of the most dynamic, fastest-growing aviation markets in the world, and this partnership positions Delta TechOps at the centre of that growth.
“High-utilisation fleets require more than technical expertise; these fleets demand reliability, scale and consistent execution.
“Delta TechOps has built these capabilities over decades, and that’s why IndiGo selected us for this exclusive CFM56 partnership as we expand our global MRO footprint.”
