Malaysia Airlines has extended its Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS) agreement covering component support for its A330ceo fleet.
The long-term power-by-the-hour contract covers integrated component services, including on-site stock, pool access, repairs and component reliability engineering.
Malaysia Airlines will also have access to Airbus engineering expertise and regional FHS representatives to support its day-to-day maintenance activities.
The extension continues a relationship that has seen Airbus FHS provide primary maintenance support for Malaysia Airlines’ A330ceo fleet since 2017. The programme was expanded to cover the carrier’s A330neo fleet in 2024.
Aida Salfaraz Ahmad Fadzil, chief operating officer of Malaysia Airlines, said: “The extension of this agreement reflects the value that the Airbus Flight Hour Services programme continues to bring to our operations.
“Since 2017, Airbus has supported the performance and reliability of our A330 fleet through its component services and technical expertise. As we continue to focus on operational efficiency and service excellence, this programme remains an important part of our support framework, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with Airbus.”

The news was announced during the Aviation Week MRO Asia-Pacific 2026 event in Singapore.
