Global air and travel service provider, dnata, has been awarded three multi-year contracts to provide inflight catering to Hainan Airlines, Tianjin Air and Beijing Capital Airlines, previously named HNA Group, at two key airports in Australia.
Under the new deals, dnata’s teams at Melbourne International Airport (MEL) and Sydney International Airport (SYD) will be produce and uplift approximately 380,000 meals annually to the three airlines, which, together, operate 19 weekly services from Melbourne to China, transporting around 200,000 passengers per year.
Including the new carrier additions, dnata provides catering and retail services to over 40 airlines across nine airports in Australia and reported uplifting more than 60 million meals for over 250,000 flights in the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
