Inverness Airport in Dalcross, Scotland, has been named by Airports Council International (ACI) as Best Airport in Europe (under 2 million passengers) for the fifth consecutive time in its Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards, and has also won the award for Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff in Europe for the third year in a row.

The airport, owned by Highland’s and Island Airport Limited (HIAL), operates routes to the three major London airports, Manchester, Amsterdam, and various other international hubs.

The ACI ASQ programme is the leading global benchmark for airport customer experience, with nearly 400 airports worldwide participating. By measuring real passenger satisfaction throughout their journey, the ASQ Awards provide invaluable insight into service excellence across the industry.

Graeme Bell, general manager of Inverness Airport said: “To win these awards for the fifth consecutive year is an incredible achievement and a proud moment for everyone involved with Inverness Airport. Being recognised for the third year running as the Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff in Europe as well is a testament to the hard work, passion, and commitment of our entire team.”

Luis Felipe de Oliveira, director general of ACI World, added: “In an era where passenger expectations are evolving rapidly, excellence in customer service is the key to ensuring airports remain memorable destinations in themselves.”
