IATA-certified global travel content aggregation and distribution technology company, TPConnects Technologies, has announced that FlySafair’s low-cost fares and services are now accessible on its Iris platform.
The Iris platform allows travel agencies to book and manage airline content from multiple sources, including NDC, traditional systems, and low-cost carriers, all in one place.
This integration will help travel sellers find the best fares and services for their customers.
Flight Centre Travel Group, which owns TPConnects Technologies, will now use Iris for FlySafair bookings across its corporate and leisure businesses. The integration offers full access to FlySafair’s fares and services, real-time pricing and availability, and easy booking and management.
As TPConnects Technologies grows globally, it continues to enhance its platform with more airline content, benefiting travel sellers in regions such including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Kirby Gordon, chief marketing officer at FlySafair, an international low-cost airline based in Johannesburg, South Africa, said: “By making our content available through the Iris platform, we’re expanding our reach in the corporate and leisure travel sector while ensuring our products are easily accessible to travel partners worldwide.”
Eric Dumas, chief executive of TPConnects Technologies, said: “By bringing FlySafair’s network and competitive fares onto Iris, we’re not only expanding low-cost carrier distribution in South Africa but also enabling seamless access for travel businesses across both corporate and leisure sectors.”
