HAECO has extended its line maintenance contract with Japan Airlines (JAL) through 2031, expanding the scope of services it provides for the carrier at Hong Kong International Airport.
The agreement covers JAL’s Boeing 777, 767, 787, 737 and 767F aircraft operating through Hong Kong, where HAECO has supported the airline since 2013.
Under the renewed contract, HAECO will add deep cleaning and scheduled maintenance tasks to its existing scope, which includes mechanic support, Certificate of Release to Service (CRS), pushback and cabin cleaning.
The extension comes as JAL has increased its passenger and cargo flight operations in Hong Kong in recent years.

The relationship between the two companies also extends into the Chinese Mainland, where HAECO supports JAL operations in Beijing, Dalian, Shanghai Pudong and Tianjin.
In 2025, HAECO became the first overseas MRO provider entrusted by JAL to perform advanced non-routine maintenance services at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
