Fokker Services Group (FSG) has signed an agreement with Danish airline Jettime to provide component support for its Boeing 737NG fleet through the company's ABACUS programme.

The agreement covers forward exchange services for a range of 737NG components, giving Jettime access to replacement parts to minimise aircraft downtime and maintain operational availability.

Components removed from service will be repaired at FSG's in-house facilities, while the agreement also includes leasing arrangements for selected parts.

These components will be held in stock at Jettime's location, allowing maintenance teams to access critical items without delays associated with external sourcing.

Nicolai Rønnow, vice-president technical at Jettime, said the airline selected FSG based on its competitive pricing, European location and component capabilities.

"We chose Fokker based on its competitive pricing, its location within the EU, and because we believe Fokker’s size and component offering are an excellent fit for Jettime," he said.

"Another advantage is that Fokker has in-house repair capabilities for 80% of the components installed on the Boeing 737-800 NG."

Menzo van der Beek, chief executive of FSG, said the agreement would provide Jettime with component support suited to the demands of its charter and ACMI operations.

"Jettime operates in a dynamic charter and ACMI environment where responsiveness and component availability are vital," he said.

"By combining forward exchange services, in-house repairs and dedicated lease stock, we can provide support that closely matches their operation and helps keep their aircraft flying."

FSG's ABACUS programme combines component maintenance, inventory management, leasing and operational support, with services tailored to individual operators.

The programme is designed to improve component availability and fleet reliability while helping airlines manage maintenance requirements and associated costs.
