Tigerair Taiwan selects Stella Entertainment
Stellar Entertainment has been appointed content service provider for Tigerair Taiwan’s first inflight entertainment (IFE) offering, to be deployed across the carrier’s Airbus A320 fleet.
The system will be delivered via Bluebox Aviation Systems’ wireless platform, enabling passengers to stream content to their personal devices. Stellar will curate and license a library including films and television from international and regional distributors.

The Taipei-based low-cost carrier is introducing IFE for the first time as part of a broader effort to enhance its onboard digital experience. Programming will be tailored to the airline’s predominantly Asian route network, covering both leisure and business markets.
Stellar will draw on partnerships with Hollywood studios and Asian content providers to build the catalogue, with scope to expand the offering over time as Tigerair Taiwan develops its passenger-facing digital services.
Tigerair Taiwan said the partnership is intended to ensure a competitive content offering at launch, while Stellar noted the agreement strengthens its presence in the Asia-Pacific aviation market.
