Silk Way West Airlines has expanded its digital distribution partnership with CargoAi, giving more than 30,000 freight forwarders access to its cargo capacity, real-time rates and eBooking services across key markets in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Building on an agreement announced at Air Cargo China 2026 in Shanghai, the expanded integration enables bookings for general cargo, lithium batteries and dangerous goods through CargoAi’s CargoMART platform.

Forwarders can also access the airline’s services through direct connections to transport management systems via CargoCONNECT.

The development forms part of Silk Way West Airlines’ wider digital transformation strategy, aimed at improving capacity visibility, automating booking processes and making its services more accessible through the digital platforms used by freight forwarders.

Wolfgang Meier, president of Silk Way West Airlines, said: “Through our partnership with CargoAi, freight forwarders now have another way to access our capacity, rates, and services through the digital channels they use every day.

“By making our offering more visible and easier to book, we are creating a more efficient customer journey while continuing to strengthen the digital capabilities of our global network.”

Matthieu Petot, founder and chief executive of CargoAi, said the expanded integration would create further opportunities for forwarders to connect with Silk Way West Airlines.

“By combining Silk Way West Airlines’ dedicated widebody freighter capacity and global network with CargoAi’s digital ecosystem, we are making capacity and pricing more easily accessible to freight forwarders across multiple booking environments,” he said.

The airline said the development would support its efforts to improve the customer experience and expand digital access to its global cargo network.
