FL Technics names new chief executive of Wright International
FL Technics, a global MRO service provider, has appointed Donatas Dockus as the new chief executive of Wright International, its Canadian subsidiary company.
Dockus has over 10 years of experience, previously heading up FL Technics MRO in China as chief executive there, and as commercial director at one of its European subsidiaries. Through Dockus’ appointment, the company expects to grow its footprint in the Canadian aviation market, as it only acquired Wright International in 2020 when it was introduced into the North American region.
Zilvinas Lapinskas, chief executive of FL Technics, said: “Canada is a key market for FL Technics, presenting significant opportunities for growth. Dockus, having led operations in China and Europe, has a wealth of understanding about diverse markets and operational strategies.”
FL Technics Canada operates across major airports like Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, and has a vast client portfolio, including Delta Airlines, Aero Mexico, and Saudi Airlines.
As part of the Avia Solutions group which is the worlds largest aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance (ACMI) provider, in also has a fleet of 221 aircraft and specialises in base and line maintenance, full aircraft engineering and technical training.
