FL Technics has been appointed an Embraer Authorised Service Centre (EASC), expanding its maintenance capabilities for the manufacturer's E170 and E190 regional jets.
The authorisation will see FL Technics provide maintenance services for the aircraft types at its facilities in Vilnius and Kaunas, Lithuania, strengthening Embraer's European support network.
The agreement builds on FL Technics' existing experience in narrowbody aircraft maintenance, with the company aiming to apply its established engineering processes and technical expertise to support E-Jet operators across Europe.
Frank Stevens, vice president of global MRO centers at Embraer Services & Support, said: “Their [FL Technics] proven maintenance capabilities and growing presence across Europe will provide E-Jet operators with greater access to high-quality support solutions.
“This partnership reinforces our commitment to delivering the best customer experience and ensuring our customers can operate with confidence wherever they fly.”
The appointment also marks a further development in the relationship between the two companies, which began providing line maintenance support for Embraer aircraft in 2023.
Since then, FL Technics has expanded its E-Jet line maintenance activities across several European locations, including Vilnius and Palanga in Lithuania, Bergen, Oslo, Trondheim, Bodø and Ålesund in Norway, and Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca in Romania.
Saulius Bajarunas, chief executive of FL Technics, said: “This recognition is a strong validation of our technical capabilities, quality standards, and customer-focused service model.
“We look forward to supporting Embraer operators with reliable and efficient MRO services from our global network.”
The latest authorisation broadens FL Technics' regional aircraft maintenance portfolio while providing Embraer operators with additional maintenance support capacity in Europe.
The news was announced during the MRO Europe 2026 event in Amsterdam.
