Boeing and Etihad Engineering have renewed their long-term Tailored Parts Package (TPP) agreement, extending a partnership designed to improve parts availability, supply chain predictability and maintenance efficiency.
Under the customised agreement, Boeing will continue to manage parts procurement and inventory requirements on behalf of the Abu Dhabi-based MRO provider, helping to streamline supply chain operations and support more predictable maintenance planning.
Boeing’s TPP programme allows customers to commit to purchasing an agreed range of parts over a specified contract period, with Boeing responsible for managing supply chain execution.
The arrangement is intended to reduce the complexities of parts sourcing and inventory management, while providing greater visibility over costs and parts availability.
William Ampofo, senior vice president, parts and distribution and supply chain at Boeing Global Services, said: “When parts planning is more predictable, customers can make better-informed operational decisions.
“This agreement brings Boeing’s parts and distribution capabilities together to help Etihad Engineering get the parts it needs, where and when they are needed.”
For Etihad Engineering, the renewed agreement is expected to support maintenance planning and turnaround times by providing more dependable access to components.
Daniel Hoffmann, chief executive of Etihad Engineering, said: “As one of the world’s leading MRO service providers, dependable access to parts is essential to delivering the quality, reliability, and turnaround times our customers expect.
“Renewing our Tailored Parts Package agreement with Boeing strengthens our supply chain, improves planning, and enables our teams to focus on providing efficient, high-quality maintenance solutions to customers from around the world.”
The agreement was announced during the MRO Europe 2026 event in Amsterdam.
