Italy-based interiors manufacturer Optimares has received an International Honorable Mention at the Compasso d’Oro, one of the world’s most respected design awards for it’s Aria business class suite. As a result, Aria has been added to the permanent ADI Historical Collection at the ADI Design Museum in Milan—an institution that preserves landmark examples of Italian and international industrial design.

The Compasso d’Oro, founded in 1954, is considered a long-term benchmark of cultural and industrial value. By joining a collection that features iconic brands like Ferrari, Olivetti, and Kartell, Aria positions Optimares within a tradition of influential design.

The ADI Historical Collection hosts objects and systems that have redefined the way we live, work, and move, created by brands such as Ferrari, Olivetti, Fiat, Kartell, Flos, and Alessi.
Aria’s inclusion within this context places Optimares inside a design tradition that looks to the future while maintaining deep historical relevance.
