Travel technology provider Amadeus has expanded the scope of its  long-standing relationship with leisure airline Jet2. The arrangement, originally made in 2015, now means that Amadeus’ travel sellers will be able to access to Jet2.com’s broader range of fare types and ancillary services.

Jet2 has been an Amadeus Ticketless Access customer for many years. As part of this extended relationship, Amadeus has integrated the airline upgraded Ticketless Access API, bringing richer airline content into standard travel seller workflows. This upgrade enables the distribution of ancillary services such as bags and seats and new functional features via the Amadeus Travel Platform today.

Frederic Saunier, Senior Vice President, Airline Distribution, Amadeus said: “It is a pleasure to continue working with a strong and successful leisure airline like Jet2.com. This new agreement gives travel sellers simple, reliable access to Jet2.com’s most in‑demand content and also reinforces how Amadeus helps airlines grow through broad reach and a platform that keeps distribution effortless for them and their travel seller partners”.

Jet2 currently operates from 14 UK bases, with London Gatwick added this spring.
